The Den Brothers
The Den Brothers BIO
To us Brothers, the garage is more womb than birthplace. While we're proud to claim big-time influences like Oasis, Johnny Marr, Led Zepplin, and The Foo Fighters, our sound can only be described as San Francisco Garage Rock.
It all began with Brothers Matt and Tony Hernandez, who grew up in the small coastal town of Fort Bragg, CA, and have been writing music together since the dawn of their time. Upon moving to San Fran for college, the brothers roomed with So Cal native Grant Vogenthaler, sparking the creation of a musical venture born from curiosity and free time. Soon thereafter, Paul Oviedo took control of the low end and joined the band as the new bassist.
After an immediate connection, years worth of Hernandez songwriting was brought to life, and the evolution of The Den Brothers sound began. Clean vocals and catchy choruses - effusing the purest snapshots of a generation - are met with a fuzzy blend of alternative and classic rock instrumentals. Best paired with road trips and days off, we sincerely hope you enjoy the noise.
